Our Philosophy or 'what we're all about'

At Atlanta Brain and Spine Care (ABSC) our commitment to patients is simple: Expert care, human touch. Even though our practice is at the international forefront of treating brain and spine disorders, we know that you deserve more than "just" expertise. And so we combine our knowledge with genuine concern for our patients. Whether by taking extra time to explain your condition, or answering your concerns about surgery, we try to go the extra mile.

To achieve our goal of Expert care, human touch, we build on three foundations.

  • First and foremost, our surgeons and medical staff are leaders in the field. They have published more than 100 articles in medical journals, have given hundreds of lectures worldwide, and are involved with developing new surgical techniques and technologies that are advancing the field. • Our second foundation is to provide our medical team with the very best tools to do their work.  At ABSC we use the latest diagnostic and surgical technology. For example, we were the first site in Atlanta to operate a Gamma Knife, which is a state-of-the-art tool suitable for treating some brain patients, and we utilize the very latest minimally invasive technology for spine surgeries. • Finally, the third foundation is our commitment to compassionate care. We know that brain and spine disorders are distressing for patients and their families. We do everything we can to make the diagnostic, treatment and recovery process as smooth and worry-free as possible. From answering your questions, to explaining realistic treatment expectations, we are focused on your well-being. (Click here to learn more about conditions and treatments)

We hope that you will agree that our Expert care, human touch philosophy really does make a difference in the care you receive at ABSC.
