Joseph A. Lamb, PA-C
Joseph A. Lamb is a Certified Physician Assistant with Atlanta Brain and Spine Care working closely with Dr Michele M. Johnson. Joseph is an Augusta, Georgia native and a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology. After college, Joseph worked in the private sector for 10 years as a business and reporting analyst . He decided in 2006 to redirect his career and pursue his passion for medicine. Joseph enrolled in graduate school and completed his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2009 from Salus University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Atlanta Brain and Spine Care, Joseph cared for Atlanta patients in both an orthopaedic practice – where he gained valuable clinical and operative experience in sports medicine, upper extremity/hand surgery, and general orthopaedics – and in an orthopaedic spinal practice gaining experience in spinal surgery. Joseph brings a unique blend of technical surgery skills and analytical skills to the practice. He and Dr. Johnson make a well-balanced team, focused on excellence in patient care and helping each individual achieve their best outcome.
In his leisure time, he enjoys cooking, playing ice hockey and soccer, spending time with his wife and two Boston Terriers, and both playing and enjoying music.
