Atlanta, Georgia – Dr. Roger H. Frankel has been named a 2023 Top Neurological Surgeon by Georgia Trend magazine. Dr. Frankel is a Board Certified neurological surgeon with Atlanta Brain and Spine Care. This is Georgia Trend’s fourth annual listing of the state’s Top Doctors, and Dr. Frankel has been honored each year.
The list of 2023 Top Doctors is comprised of outstanding physicians from across the state representing a full range of medical specialties. The list is created in partnership with DataJoe Research, which utilizes peer voting and a review of government services in the selection process. All nominees must hold current, active licenses with the state regulatory board.
Dr. Frankel has been a pioneer in clinical research on spinal implants at Piedmont Hospital. He has been involved in research for spinal cord injury at the Shepherd Center, a world-renowned rehabilitation hospital focused on brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Frankel is a past president of the Georgia Neurological Society.
As an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative disorders of the spine and spinal trauma, Dr. Frankel offers minimally invasive or standard surgical procedures as appropriate.
